MORNING OR AFTERNOON TEA RIDE

At Bellrowan Valley you get more than just a ride on a horse. On the one or two hour trail ride, start off being picked up in a 4WD Troop Carrier and driven 3.5kms into the property (an experience in itself!). Each rider receives a riding tuition before the ride heads out, the ride does not leave until every rider is ready and comfortable on their chosen horse. The ride sets out into the valley on undulating terrain through classic Aussie bush and rainforest pockets on the logging trails of years gone by. Sitting on horseback is by far the best way to take in the serenity and beauty of bushland and it?s ever present wildlife.After the ride relax around the camp fire in Bellrowan?s rustic ?Bush Inn? where refreshments and fresh damper is served and you can sit back and take in the fun friendly atmosphere of all the farm animals and peace and quiet of this unique bush hideaway.

Then hear the crack and echo of the stockwhip, as your hosts will give each and everyone a demonstration and lesson on the uniquely Australian stockman?s tool. (Whip Cracking only done on the two hour ride and overnight trek) So come and try what so many others have in this unique part of Australia?s nature wonderland. With one phone call your horse will be saddled and ready for you.

Groups can range in size from just two riders to a maximum of twelve riders (with three guides).

PUB RIDE

2 DAY PUB RIDE

2 Days and 1 Night

On the 2 day Pub Ride Adventure, Start your day riding through the stunning hill tops that surround the Hastings Valley making your way through breathtaking bushland to the historical riverside village of Beechwood to enjoy the genuine local hospitality, on arrival indulge in wine tasting and pre-dinner nibbles at Beechwood Cellars, then dine at the Local Country Pub ?Beechwood Hotel?, then settle in for a comfy night stay with the choice of two B&B's on the river in Beechwood. The School House on Oaklands, the 100 year old converted Brombin School House on a 550 acre cattle property on the banks of the Pappinbarra River, OR Telopea B&B, centrally located in Beechwood on the banks of the Hastings River. In the morning wake up to a hearty Aussie style breakfast, then join your four legged friend and ride back to Bellrowan Valley Homestead having lunch on your return. (6-8 hours of riding over two days, no riding experience at all is necessary to participate in this ride. Ample breaks and riding tuition is given along the way.

We can customise your ride in many ways, for example, arriving on the morning of the first day and doing more riding than the standard 6 Hours (return) Pub Ride. You can also extend your stay at Bellrowan when you arrive back here on the second day.
As many of our guests have said, "it's so hard to leave!". So you might want to have an extra day up your sleeve when you come to visit!
